High profile fraud case at Birmingham Crown Court

Quentin was instructed to appear at a sentencing hearing to represent an accountant who had admitted to taking over £325,000 from Accord Housing Association whilst working as their deputy CEO. Despite many strong aggravating features including a large element of breach of trust Quentin was able to secure a sentence of only 3 years in custody and due to the way in which the case had been handled the prosecution brought no confiscation proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
