Triple Success in Counterfeit case applications

Quentin recently appeared in the Birmingham Crown Court on behalf of RK, a man convicted of producing high quality forgeries of Bank of England £10 notes. The Prosecution made three ancillary applications- for a £130,000 confiscation order, for £6,250 in costs and for an extremely wide ranging Serious Crime Prevention Order lasting 5 years.

Following significant legal over the course of two days the Court ruled conclusively in Quentin's favour. No confiscation order was made, no order for costs was made and the judge refused to grant a Serious Crime Prevention order against RK.
