Quentin was contacted by the family of FA, a man facing harassment charges relating to the breakdown of a relationship and unwarranted contact between him and his ex-partner. FA had been remanded in custody by the Crown Court and was awaiting trial. FA’s previous lawyers had exhausted all avenues of appeal in respect of bail and FA’s family were worried about him remaining in prison.

Quentin then negotiated with the prosecution and arranged a plea deal whereby FA pleaded guilty to a significantly lesser charge than that which he faced. As a result, Quentin was able to get the matter listed before the Court for the plea to be entered and the resulting sentence was such that his client was released from custody that day to go home with his family. Both FA and his family were delighted with the result.
